I begin with the shape of a problem rather than the shape of a solution, paying attention to the people involved, the goals at stake, and the constraints they're working within.
Research always comes before assumption. I look for patterns over preference and evidence over instinct. Somewhere in that process, quieter signals start to surface: where people hesitate, where they return, and where something doesn't quite hold. That's the signal I choose to follow.
Everything after is built from there. It is structured, intentional, and refined until what remains feels inevitable rather than assumed.

Then & Now
Before designing digital products, I spent more than a decade in apparel and textiles. It was an industry that demanded precision, patience, and an understanding that the smallest adjustments could fundamentally change someone's experience of a product.
That perspective continues to shape the way I design today. While the medium has changed, the principles remain the same: thoughtful craftsmanship, purposeful iteration, and a constant awareness of who I am designing for.
